The annual Independent State of Cuckfield Cuckoo Fayre takes place on May Day Bank Holiday Monday every year in the Recreation Ground, from 12noon, with the official opening by the current Mayor at 1pm. Entry is free.

With spring in the air, plans are well underway for the Independent State of Cuckfield’s Cuckoo Fayre. This year’s event takes place on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May, and will once again be located at the Cuckfield Recreation Ground. In addition to the usual array of stalls and vendors there will be the welcome return of the dog show, the tug of war and the barrel toss. With plenty of food and drink offerings you won’t go hungry or thirsty, plus there will be lots of entertainment laid on for both kids and adults. So, make sure you mark the date in your diary and keep an eye out in Cuckfield Life and at www.facebook.com/independentstateofcuckfield for more details.
