With a hot summer now well behind us the intense heat from the giant bonfire which signals the start of the Cuckfield fireworks display could be a welcome throwback for many. And as usual it will be a spectacular sight to see the village skies come alive with an explosive range of pyrotechnics in sync with a pulsating music track. What’s more, it’s all in the name of charity with the profits from the night being donated to a wide range of local good causes, including Holy Trinity primary school. Thanks to sustained community support from across Mid Sussex this legendary event has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds over the last 39 years. So Saturday, November 7th from 7pm, at Cuckfield Park is undoubtedly a hot date for the diary. “We always aim to provide a great family night out and thanks to our new and much improved website, tickets and convenient off-site parking is easier than ever to buy,” said Michael Moore, Chair of the Cuckfield Bonfire Society. “Huge amounts of work from our volunteer committee goes into ensuring that it’s always a night to remember and as well as providing an epic display we really focus on the parking logistics and catering to ensure everyone has a good time,” Bonfire tickets can be bought by scanning the QR code, as well as parking tickets at nearby Warden Park School.

Cuckfield Bonfire 2026

by Cuckfield Bonfire team

The bonfire is lit by the newly elected Mayor of Cuckfield – followed by a professionally run firework display, choreographed to music. There will be a host of food and drink stands raising money for the stallholders’ own good causes and, as you would expect at a family event, strictly no alcohol. A fantastic evening in prospect for all the family and, with such a rich history and worthy causes to benefit, this is surely a village tradition worth supporting.

Cuckfield Charitable Bonfire & Fireworks to Music has developed into one of the village’s major annual fundraising events. Over the years, many thousands of pounds have been raised for local groups.

Saturday 7th November, gates open at 5.30pm, bonfire lit at 6.45pm and fireworks to music at 7.30pm.

The event is open to all ages with under 5-year-olds getting in for free.

The event is being held in the beautiful grounds of Cuckfield Park. Visitors can expect the usual HUGE bonfire followed by a professionally run firework display, choreographed to music.

Car parking is purchasable on the night on the entrance gates or in advance at Warden Park School, details on our website https://www.cuckfieldbonfire.co.uk/
