Christmas bin collections
Rubbish, recycling and food waste collections will change between 23rd December until 3rd January for the Christmas and New Year period and garden collections will pause for two weeks.

Christmas trees
Real Christmas trees can be placed in your garden waste bin. Just make sure the tree is cut down accordingly and the lid can be fully closed. Alternatively, there will be temporary sites within the district where you can drop off your real Christmas tree for recycling. These sites will be open from Wednesday 1st January until Wednesday 15th January 2025. For site locations and a map of where to drop off your Christmas tree, visit www.midsussex.gov.uk/treerecycling
Bulky Waste
The last day applications will be accepted for this year will be Friday 20th December. Collections before Christmas cannot be guaranteed. Any requests submitted after this date will be processed after the service restarts on Monday 6th January 2024. For more information visit www.midsussex.gov.uk
Garden waste
The last collection day for green waste bins is Friday 20th December. Please note there will be no garden waste collections between Monday 23rd December 2024 and Friday 3rd January 2025. Garden waste collections will return to normal from Monday 6th January 2025.
