Firm favourite in the Cuckfield calendar, the Christmas Tree Festival (CTF) once again comes to Holy Trinity Church next month.

Starting, as always, on the evening of the Christmas Street Festival on Friday 6th December, CTF will continue in the church until its culmination, a carol service at 6pm on Sunday 8th December.

Organiser Paul Goldfinch explained: “This is our 17th year and to date CTF has raised over £76,000 for various charities. We are proud to have Alzheimer’s Society as our charity partner in 2019 as it celebrates its 40th anniversary.”

Until a cure is found, the Society’s mission is to transform the landscape of dementia - they want everyone affected by dementia to know that, whatever they are going through, wherever and whoever they are, they can turn to Alzheimer’s Society for support, help and advice. Each and every penny raised at this year’s Tree Festival will make a huge difference to people living locally with dementia and their carers.

The Christmas Tree Festival opens every day at 11.30am and will feature over 60 trees decorated by groups, organisations and businesses from within the community. Admission will cost £5 for adults, children are free. Refreshments and live music will be running throughout the weekend.
