The annual Cuckoo Fayre takes place, as always, on the first Bank Holiday Monday in May - this year 1st May.
The event, which includes stalls from local businesses and organisations, will be held on Cuckfield Recreation Ground (behind Queen’s Hall) is run by The Independent State of Cuckfield as one of its flagship community events.
Stalls begin trading from midday, but the Mayor of Cuckfield Wilf Knighton will formally declare the Fayre open at 1pm, as he will be brought to the arena in a chauffeur-driven transport of his choice.
In addition to purchasing opportunities there are plenty of fun prize draws and children’s games during the afternoon, with displays and pet shows in the arena.
Its always a fantastic event, which causes just about all of the community to turn out in celebration of this small piece of England!
